Abdullah Rayan, a student of the first batch of Educational Technology and Engineering Department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Bangladesh, became the champion in the Cloud Track (AI, Big Data & Cloud) of the National Finals of "Huawei ICT Competition Asia Pacific 2023-24", the Honorable Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf congratulated him and wished him well.

Note that the Huawei ICT Competition is a global event for undergraduate students that is organized around the world. Cloud Track, Network Track and Computing Track – Basically three tracks where contestants prove their theoretical knowledge and lab skills. Students can choose any subject of their choice while registering for the competition. Candidates are then allowed to study, prepare and participate in mock tests to clear the various stages. National, Regional and Global (national, regional and global) - this competition is held in three stages. A preliminary test is also conducted before the national round and the contestants who pass the preliminary test complete the professional courses and training programs offered according to their track on the Huawei Online Learning Platform. 1 lakh 50 thousand students from more than 2300 universities of 80 countries of the world participated in this event. Computer science, electronics, information and communication technology students from most of the public and private universities in Bangladesh participated in the event.
