Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University is the first specialized and self-dependent university in Bangladesh where vibrant Learning Management System (LMS) have been introduced with all the tools and material for conducting classes are available (https://moodle.bdu.ac.bd/). A student can access all the information about courses from anywhere. Class Attendances for students and live classes are recorded on online and provided thereafter. Assignments, Examinations and other activities can be executed by using this system. Likewise, students have access to their attendances in courses, results, course materials, power-point slides and other information through their own control panel. Students can post or comment for any problems in the Blogs to provide collective feedback which literally sorted out through discussion. Faculty members can also use this system to gather any statistical information such as students’ attendance in the class, results, course curriculum and so on. If teachers or students are not able to join the classes physically for any particular reason, they must be benefited by using this system.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University provides Google G-suite application to all teachers, students and officials which is a cloud-driven service that initiate tremendous benefits, in the realms of educational environment. Some key features of G-suite for education:   Institution-web email: BDU provides Institutional G-mail to all faculty members, students, officials which literally expedite hassle-free email connection and thus develops the collaboration with upgraded communication system for teaching and learning.   Shared Calendar:   It enables the cooperation among teachers, students and officials.   Google class room: Google class makes it easy for teachers and learners to connect whether they are inside and outside the premises. Teachers can share valuable resources, course materials, assignments and can seek clarification.   Unlimited storage:   Users get unlimited storages, support, security and administrative control with various functions.   Google Docs, Spread sheets, Presentation and Forms:   These are extremely useful for teachers and students, from the viewpoint of creating reports, noting important information and lectures, preparing slides on subject topics, creating surveys to seek feedback and much more.   Hang out: It helps the user to communicate with each other through video conferencing, chatting, creating peer groups  and so on.

BDU has established the first online library in Bangladesh. Both Faculty members and students have access through their own Virtual Machine (VM) to the provided web link (https://www.taylorfrancis.com). Teachers and students can also get access through their mobile phone by downloading Fusion Access Mobile Apps. Apart from this, students also can get access through the Learning Management System (LMS).

BDU provides Interactive Digital Board in each class room along with the white board. Faculty members can create versatility in their lecture by adding Graphics and Videos in these boards. With the built in software of Interactive Digital Board, different types of technical pictures and solutions of physics, math, chemistry can be represented quickly and nicely.

ICT and Education department have several labs like computer lab, physics lab, and IOT lab. Computer lab equipped with sufficient numbers of computers so that each of the 25 students can use one computer to follow the lecture. Each computer is connected with LAN and required software is installed on each. We provide virtual machine for students, teachers and staffs that empowers it’s users to go beyond the limitations of hardware and enhance device efficiency, maintenance and recovery. IOT lab equipped with sensors, 3D printers, microcontrollers, embedded software etc. to accelerate the research and innovation process of the university.

We facilitate our learners by providing both digital and traditional library accesses to accelerate teaching, learning and research programs of the university.  Our library is open to all students, faculty members and employees that are enriched with printed books, e-books and journals. We have e-library management system to provide a better educational experience for pupils. Initially students can access around three hundreds books from “Taylor & Francis Group” through our digital library and two hundreds books in our traditional library.
